About the Author

William W. Corless Jr. is a self-taught systems engineer, entrepreneur, and author. He served in the U.S. Air Force, including a posting with the 1961st Communications Group at Clark Air Base in the Philippines as a telecommunications specialist, before leaving the service in 1989 to build businesses of his own.

That same drive to build things from first principles — whether a communications network or a company — carried over into his writing. His work spans historical fantasy, with The Temple Chronicles and The Dawnbreaker Trilogy, and military science fiction with Starfall, each shaped by a lifelong interest in how ordinary people are tested by extraordinary circumstances.

He lives in Golden Valley, Arizona.
